Sam had his annual Blue & Gold Scout Dinner. The theme was Aloha! He got his Pinewood Derby wood for the Derby in April. We had to bring a cake to fit the theme. Just when you think you have an original idea....
Mine is the far right, next to it is Natalie Afflecks and next to that is Patience Roney. We all did a beach with sand and water. Natalie and I even used the same boy Polly Pocket! Scary.

Cub scouts. Wow. Everyone is getting so big. Can you believe we're the same age, Ellie, and you have a baptized Cub Scout? lol
why didn't those cakes surprise me?...only in the land of over-achiever moms.
we're glad we moved so our kids didn't get teased for the ghetto stuff they would bring to stuff like that. cambria probably would have just brought a pineapple in the grocery bag for her theme treat.
