Celebrating Maggie

Chris was able to be home with us for part of the day Monday before he had to leave again for Chicago. Since it was Maggie's birthday the next day we decided to celebrate while dad was still with us. Maggie decided she wanted to go to Downtown Disney and have lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.
Getting a picture with a Macaw out in front of Rainforest.

Group shot...Maggie loves the rainstorms and animals.

They brought out a huge volcano cake and sang Happy Birthday and then we all chowed down, Yum!

Aren't they cute? The nurse at the hospital said "Wow, she looks just like you!" to Chris.

Next stop, Build-A-Bear Workshop to get the High School Musical bear she's been waiting for. Then Maggie rang a bell and the they announced her birthday to the whole store and then sang to her. It was so fun.
The hardest part was leaving that and driving strait to the airport to drop daddy off. But we're so glad we got some extra time with him. Chris was also able to give the kids (and me!) Dad's blessings for the new school year and that was a really neat experience.
